NXNE 2000 Review
Dan Bryk

In the lovely atmosphere of Holy Joe’s Toronto’s Dan Bryk stole the show with his keyboard and his heartfelt songs. The tiny room was packed with a who’s who of Toronto music. Dan sang a fantastic set of songs about being a computer geek in Mississauga among other treasures, encouraging a respectful silence from his audience that few solo artists can achieve in this town, let alone from a NXNE audience. Dan Byrk’s songs were both melodic and humorous, the keyboard lent a nice dimension to the solo setting an the show was certainly the best one that evening. Dan has a new CD out entitled "Lovers Leap" on Scratchie Records.
