Dan Bryk - Lover's Leap (Teenage USA / Scratchie 2000)

Fun, angsty, toe-tapping pop balladry on the topics of nerdy idols, molestation, explaining away ex-girlfriends, dumping people, being overweight and telling off stupid punk kids. Bryk's clever lyrics are witty, without falling into that wacky Canadian goof rock category, and his compositions are diverse, while maintaining his unique voice and style. Sincere, unself-conscious and catchy. -SM
