CLUB LIFE

Smartly effervescent pop combo Fountains of Wayne troops into Lee's Palace (529 Bloor St .W.) to give Toronto a live gander at the tunes from its very likeable new disc, Utopia Parkway.

Show up early, too, and catch gifted local singer/songwriter Dan Bryk, whose charmingly nasty Lovers Leap disc should get its long-delayed release on Wayne main man Adam Schlesinger's Scratchie Label in the fall. Newcomer Owsley, who disturbingly enough, once played the guitar for Shania Twain also plays. Tickets are $12.
